- טַצְהַרm. (צְהַר, cmp. preced. wds.) white spot, indication of leprosy. Gitt.86a (in a formula of sale of a slave) free from any organic defect ומן שחין דנפק עד ט׳ חדתוכ׳ and from any eruption that has come out, down to ‘white spot, recent or old. (Alf. ומן כל שחין עד צהר; Asheri מן ט׳. The misconception of our w. by commentators, as if denoting a foreign numeral (2 or 4 years) arose from a tradition concerning the definition of עתיק.
